Photo shots with the kids..

We were getting ready for family photos and decided to take a few single shots of the kids before we left... Aren't they all so cute!!!
Madi 4 years old
Kaydee 6 years old
Isaac and his 'have they stopped looking at me yet' face... almost 2 years old

Taylor 9 years old
Gage 5 years old
Autumn almost 8 years old
And can they be serious for even one full minute???
No!!! and we love it!!

A day out with the kids...

The week after we moved in, the weather had calmed down and we took the kids out for a drive to see what we could see...

And this is what we saw......

Fun rocks to climb on...

We took pictures on the rocks... Taylor is not too bad with a camera...she practices a lot with a camera her mom bought her for her birthday.

I love Nate's laugh. It is infectious. He is kind of cute...ok...maybe really really cute...

Kaydee, Madi, and Autumn... they are so beautiful... our sweet girls...

Kaydee, Madison, Autumn, Taylor, Isaac and Gage... look at the camera!!!
Taylor, Isaac, and Gage
And we saw...buffalo...lots and lots of buffalo right on the side of the road. Nate was able to get less than 10 feet from them..

and lots of antelope... they are pretty cool. The kids thought is was great!

Halloween...

The kids would not hold still for more than one picture!! They were so excited to go trick-or-treating. The weather was great and the kids had a blast. We still have a few candy pieces left.... crazy!!
Taylor - the leopard, Autumn - the witch, Kaydee - a sparkly witch, Gage - buzz-light-year, Madi- the Mooooooo Cow, and Isaac the Pirate
Too bad he wouldn't keep the hat and eye patch on all night...lol

Our move to Cheyenne, WY...

In October, Nate was offered a job at Frito-lay and the job was just too good to pass up!! So we decided to move to Cheyenne, WY.

I got back from Utah on the 25th and Nate had already loaded up the truck with the help of many friends and family in Snowflake. Our ward members were amazing! While I was working in Utah, they helped Nate do everything I had not got done before I left.

Such good people!! I owe them many, many thanks!! THANKS!!

We left AZ on the morning of the 26th and drove until we were to tired to go farther. We drove on the next day but with weather, we did not make it to Cheyenne until late. Nate was driving the moving truck and pulling my car. I drove the Suburban and pulled a 12 foot trailer. The kids took turns in the moving truck. Two at a time would ride with him and they each thought it was so cool!! I took the other four kids with me... my car was not so cool....lol...
We stayed at a hotel that night because it was so late and everything had closed down due to weather. The freeways and highways were all closed shortly after we got into town.
The next morning, we went down for breakfast and there were quite a few truckers that were forced to stop for the night....
We had appointments to find a house so we headed out into the storm. We were not out for 20 minutes when we got into a sticky situation. The roads were pure ice and the suburban is just a 2-wheel drive. Pulling a trailer, it didn't do so well. After we slide backwards down a road, we stopped for chains.
So here was the next day in Cheyenne... this lasted for 3 days..!!!
As you can tell, there were not many out on the road...They knew better!!!
We found a good home and were able to move in that night. Despite the weather, the ward that we moved into came out to help us move in. We were amazed at their kindness and help. The Bishop, and many others came out in the cold and helped us. The night ended with everything in the house and a beat up ward member who fell on the ice trying to unload a dresser... I am sorry!!!
We are so grateful for your help!!!
We didn't get a chance to get the beds all set up and such so we went back to the hotel to sleep. The next day was spent unpacking and finding the necessities. The schools were closed because of the weather so we enrolled the kids the next day. Monday, they started at their new school and they LOVE it!!
Taylor and Kaydee are reading buddies every Friday. Kaydee's teacher says she never saw to girls have so much fun reading.
So here we are, just 6 hours from Utah instead of 12 hours and we are way excited about it all. And...Nate loves his job.... It is great!!!

The overnight bashes!!!

Overnight Crop!!
Four times a year, I go to Ogden to work for the weekend. My unit with Creative Memories schedules all the conference rooms and usually 60-80 rooms. This time, we had 200 women scrapbooking from 1:00 Friday afternoon until 12:00 Saturday night. One of my clients stayed up all night!!! I love this! It is really hard work but you can tell that we have fun too.
This weekend we had a Chocolate Heaven. Each gal had to complete an average of five pages within each group. Once that happened, they got to go to HEAVEN!!
All the chocolate and dip-able items you can imagine. Just thinking about it makes me crave chocolate.
Becky, Sharon, and their daughters...
Melani and Kylee

This is Brooke, she is in my unit and she loves chocolate as much as I do.

I LOVE BROOKE!!
She is so sweet and fun and crazy!!!

Brooke's group.

Callie, Lexi, Peggy, Linda, and Donna... hummmm they want to eat that chocolate now!!

Liz and her daughter Sabrina. Cathy is in the purple behind them. She so busy she can't even break for a picture...lol... it is no wonder she stayed up all night!!

Liz and Tara... aren't they so beautiful?!!
This is just one of the three conference rooms we had.
After working a weekend at these events, although I feel like I have been hit by a mac truck, I am so excited for the next one!! They are contagious.

Isaac and His Shoe Obsession

Isaac loves shoes. He likes to try on may different shoes and never his own. He will go to the shoe rack and take all the shoes down trying on all he can. If you are missing a shoe, ask Isaac!

Notice the one purple striped sock on top of his white socks..
Yes, yes, those are princess shoes... I wonder if this will become a habit...doesn't look good at all.. ;-)

Sometimes, it is harder to walk than he realizes and his foot will just pop out while he is walking..he is shocked! He is so cute!!

Autumn and Mary

Autumn made a really good friend in Snowflake. Her name is Mary. They got along really well and had lots in common. We had her over often and here are just a few pictures of them the last time she came over before we moved.

Autumn, Mary, and Kaydee

How do you get three giggly girls to calm down enough for a picture? YOU DON'T!!!
