So it was my birthday last Thursday
(I just turned 24 years old....lol)
I spent the day getting caught up on homework.... lots of fun. My visiting teacher, Shawna, came over and offered to take Gage and Madi home with her to play so I could study. It was very nice. I was able to get a lot done.
Isaac thought it was great too. He was able to play with any toys he wanted and there was no one there to take them away from him! lol
That night, Nate took me out to dinner. There are not a lot of choices here in Heber but this is a fun little bar that has great food. I had been craving a steak (weird) and so we just enjoyed some alone time and good food.
We went to Pattie's house (Nate's sister) and picked up this most delicious triple chocolate cake…. Oh… it was soooo good. We brought it home so the kids could see it. Isaac tried to take all the chocolate chips off….
We all had a piece and it was nearly death by chocolate. It was soooooooo yummy!!! It was a great birthday!!!
I had to keep my hand on Isaac's arm because he kept crawling out of his seat so he could get the cake.
