Music...sooths the soul...

Isaac loves music. He dances in his car seat, in his booster seat, while he is taking a bath… anytime he hears a tune, he dances. He will even start to sway back and forth when my phone rings. It is so awesome!! He is such a happy baby.

Here are a few videos of some amazing dancing skills… ( Isaac is going to be a lady killer…lol)
In the first video, all the kids were dancing to Taylor Swift. I tried to catch some video of Isaac with his little tush in the air and moving backwards but I was too slow.

Madi, Kaydee, and Gage all love to dance and they try so hard to do some of the dance moves Taylor teaches them but it doesn't happen quite as well as they plan.

I was able to get one video to upload... I hope to get the others too.. they have more of the other kids in them. Anyway...

Enjoy!!

A few clips from the last week.....

It is hard to keep Isaac entertained while we are reading scriptures before bed. The other night, he found a purse of Madi's and thought he was the funniest thing in the world when it ended up on his head. He would look at you and laugh. Nate was trying to read and Isaac leaned over in his face and laughed so Nate would look at him. He is such a clown!!

It fell off and I can't get it back on...
Will you do it Dad?

See, I told you I was funny!!!

For Valentine's Day, we gave all the kids Croc's to wear around the house. Our kitchen floor is very slippery...as you can tell. Who knew you could have such fun with a new pair of shoes?
I told you I could do the splits mom!!

One night after baths, Madi was in the family room by herself singing and dancing. It was so cute!!

I tried to get some pictures without her noticing but it didn't last, she caught me.

But it didn't matter, soon she was posing for me..

And what, you ask, was she singing at the top of her lungs??

"Don't go wasting your emotions.." (Lay your love on me) from the sound track of Mamma mia... we have watched it a few times...lol....

On Saturday the 7th, we decided to take a trip out of our big town and headed to Tucson. It is 200 miles one way so by the time we got there, the kids were ready to be out of the car. We went to the Reid Park Zoo and walked around for hours and had a total blast. There were so many fun animals. All the kids had such a great time.

Gage and Madi at the gate.

We rode a small train around the pond and park oustide of the zoo.

Nate said it was too small for him ... party pooper....

Isaac loved it! He yelled at all the ducks.

"Isaac, what are you looking at?"

"uh?"
"oh, hi mom, I am looking at the ant-eaters"

piranhas

"Can they eat people?" Isaac checking out the monkeys!
"Did you hear that noise Dad? It came from over there"
Mom and Isaac

Gage and Isaac

You would think we could get them to both look in the same place.

Walking by the fresh water fish pond.
What is in the pond?
Nate took some cool pictures....

Match the animal's head with their body...

Isaac is checking out the lizards.

Gage loves to give Isaac hugs and kiss..... Isaac likes it, well, most of the time. Some times they are a little too tight and a little to wet.
A HUGE TURTLE!!!
Pictures on the huge turtle shell.

Gage has his finger where? No, not Gage. He never, ever picks his nose. All the kids were amazed at just how big the turtle was.
The polar bears....

In front of the rinos.

Normal peacock.... Albino Peacock... pretty cool. It jumped off the fench right next to us. While the other kids decided they wanted to chase it, Isaac grabbed my arm..."ohhhhhhhh".

cool giraffe

Isaac likes them too.

Gage the goober.

We saw the elephants and then we took some group shots next to the metal statue.

We can't get them all to smile, look at the camera, and not move at one time.....

More attemps to get a good picture of everyone.... did I say attemts?

Oh my.... I give up!!!
Nate....what a babe.....
(he was not so happy I took the picture.... can you tell....lol..)
I like to be able to ride... it is so much easier on me...

All and all it was a great day. After the zoo, we went to the mall and then piled in the car for our long ride home. It was late so we were planning on a quiet drive home while they slept. We were only about 20 miles out of town when Gage spoke up from the back, "I feel like I am going to throw up...." and then proceeded to do just that. We pulled off the road, cleaned up the mess and then got started again...hoping and praying that he would not loose anymore of his dinner than he already did.

We got home really late, the kids piled in the house, sleepy and content.

That is the best.
